The Santa Cruz Heckler SL is at the top of the list of our favorite light weight e-MTB’s. With the Mullet setup (29” in front and 27.5” in the back) it handles very well going downhill and in tight corners. The SL has less power but it also weighs about 10 pounds less than the Heckler. The Heckler SL still has plenty of power for the climbs and the lighter weight makes it feel more responsive and easier to handle on the downhill sections.
This Heckler is set up with the Sram GX AXS drivetrain, has an electronic Rockshox reverb dropper post, Santa Cruz Reserve HD 30 AL wheelset, Fox 38 performance Elite front for and a Fox XS factory rear shock.
